Three of Netflix's biggest names are set to star alongside each other in a new movie.
The film is based on an article which appeared in the New Yorker about solving an unsolved crime.
Mbatha-Raw plays Detective Reese Rezek, who obsessively investigates the brutal murders of Nancy and Derek Haysom, a couple from Virginia.
After some digging Reese discovers the biggest suspects are the couple's daughter, Lizzy (Shipka), and her boyfriend, Jens (Sprouse). However, before any arrests can be made, the couple flees and a six-year international manhunt ensues.
Although fans will be pretty disappointed Sprouse and Shipka won't get to be part of a Riverdale and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina crossover now Sabrina has been cancelled by Netflix, at least the actors can still share the screen.
Talking about the cancellation of one of the Archie-verse shows, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said in a statement (via TV Line): "Working on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been an incredible honour from day one.
"The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone's favourite teen witch, has been an absolute joy. I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show.
"I'm also grateful to our partners at Netflix, Warner Bros., Berlanti Television and Archie Comics for letting us tell the story we wanted to tell, the way we wanted to tell it. We can't wait for everyone to see part four."
