Ryanair (almost) regains its load factor
STORY: Europe’s largest airline is back to filling more than 90% of its seats
Ryanair hasn’t boasted a load factor like that since before the health crisis
The Irish carrier flew 14.2 million people on 82,600 flights in April 2022
That compares to just 1 million passengers during lockdown a year earlier
The airline is profitable when its load factor reaches 80%
Occupancy previously reached at least 96% a month
Ryanair expects a record 165 million passengers in the year to March 2023
