Ryan Bakery is serious about "Famili Duo 3"

2 Oct - Ryan Bakery dismissed the notion that he and his brother Adam Bakery are just an afterthought when it comes to their involvement in the new season of the reality singing competition, "Famili Duo".

The famed content creator, who spoke to the media regarding their participation, stated that he doesn't see the show as something that they would only join just for the sake of it.

"Yes, we are not that great of a singer, but we can sing. We also prepared ourselves by joining vocal classes. We are not coming into this programme willy nilly," he said.

However, Ryan admitted that he can't deny the fact that he is a big name on TikTok and that that could have played a role in him being offered a place in the competition.

"The programme has two voting categories, which is the fixed jury and the viewers. As an influencer, I have to tell my followers," he added.

Aside from Ryan and Adam, the third season of the show will have Haqiem Rusli and his cousin Ariff Bahran, celebrity couple Tom and Fuad Rahman, sisters Adira and Emma Suhaimi, and siblings Shila Amzah and Syahir.

The first episode will begin on 15 October.

China anchors 'monster ship' in South China Sea, Philippine coast guard says
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Saturday that China's largest coastguard vessel has anchored in Manila's exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the South China Sea, and is meant to intimidate its smaller Asian neighbour.
