STORY: Local authorities reported four dead and 10 wounded caused by Russian rocket attacks on Donetsk Region late on Thursday (September 1).

Nearly 2,300 educational institutions have been shelled or bombed since the Russian invasion began on February 24, and 286 completely destroyed, according to Ukraine's Ministry of Education and Science.

Russia has repeatedly denied targeting civilian areas after launching what it called a "special military operation", despite mounting evidence that its missiles have hit residential areas across the country.
