Russia unleashed a barrage on Mykolaiv Oblast in a late-night assault on Nov. 12, employing two Kh-59 guided aviation missiles and an Iskander-M ballistic missile, Vitalii Kim, head of Mykolaiv Oblast State Administration, reported on Telegram this morning.
“A swift response from Ukrainian air defense forces resulted in the successful interception of one Kh-59 guided missile,” Kim said.
“However, the other missiles struck an open area within the region, causing damage to several residential buildings from debris resulting from the intercepted missile.”
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
