Russian footage claims to show clean-up of Donbas
STORY: Ministry personnel could be seen using circular saws to cut through the mangled heaps of concrete and steel that once formed residential buildings, with heavy-lifting equipment used to take the debris away.
Several Russian regions, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, have in recent weeks publicly pledged infrastructure support to the region, collectively known as the Donbas.
St. Petersburg's governor, Alexander Beglov, promised to restore the Drama Theatre in Mariupol, which was bombed during the fiercest battles for the city resulting in scores of deaths of civilians sheltering in its basement.
