Ruffa Gutierrez wants to keep her personal life private
8 Jan – Although many assumed that her relationship with French businessman Jordan Mouyal has ended, Ruffa Gutierrez kept fans guessing recently by saying that she is just keeping her personal life private.
As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who spoke to the media at a media gathering of Cathy Valencia Advanced Skin Clinic, where she was announced the new face of the brand, addressed the previous breakup rumours that sparked after she no longer posted photos of her with the businessman - without actually confirming nor denying the speculations.
"I just don't like to post anything because it's not going to benefit my career. We're not a love team. Sometimes, people tend to overshare on social media. And I don't want to do that and post things like, 'Baby, I love you!' Eww!" she said, lightheartedly.
Gutierrez also stated that she wanted to lead by example, especially since she has two daughters, Lorin and Amber, who look up to her.
At the same time, the actress said that not posting such photos enabled her to keep her peace with mother Annabelle Rama, whom she said never liked anybody she dated.
As to whether she has plans to tie the knot, Gutierrez stated that she is not in rush to do it again after her previous marriage to Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas ended in 2007.
