Ruco Chan: Stop linking me to Nancy Wu!
18 Sep – TVB actor Ruco Chan has recently expressed annoyance over the media's insistence in continuously linking him to his previous onscreen partner Nancy Wu, despite the fact that he is now married.
As reported on On CC, the actor, who spoke to the media recently, admitted that he was surprised over rumours saying that Nancy was originally cast in his new drama "Extraordinarily Mysterious Cases" but declined in order to avoid him.
"I don't know how this rumour started, but I knew I was going to do this drama a year ago, and the lead actress wasn't going to be Nancy. It wasn't even Rosina," he said, referring to the current choice of lead actress, Rosina Lam.
He also stressed that he and Nancy are on good terms - that they last saw each other at Pal Sinn's birthday party a few months ago.
However, when reporters continued to ask more questions about Nancy, the actor began to express his annoyance, saying, "Please ask something else. I am already married and I have a child now. There are questions that you should ask Nancy herself."
On the other hand, producer Lau Ka Ho recently dismissed rumours that Nancy was part of the original cast, saying that he never asked the actress to do the drama.
Ruco and Nancy were romantically linked back in 2016, following the success of their drama, "A Fist Within Four Walls". However, the rumour died down when Ruco was revealed to be dating TVB newcomer Phoebe Sin, whom he had married since then.
