'RRR' star NTR Jr to be paid close to RM15m to fight Hrithik Roshan in 'War 2'

KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 — Indian actor NTR Jr will be paid a whopping amount of 20 to 30 crore (RM10.6 to RM15.8million) to star in upcoming movie War 2.

The star of Oscar-winning movie RRR will appear alongside Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan in another instalment of leading Indian studio Yash Raj Films’ spy universe.

NTR Jr, whose full name is Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr, hails from the South India-based Telugu-language film industry but the international success of RRR has seen him transcend boundaries.

He is elated to be a part of this big Bollywood franchise and is waiting to get in on the action, reported BollywoodLife.

He will reportedly play the bad guy and will lock horns with Hrithik Roshan, who plays spy Kabir.

This will be the first time the two actors are working together and fans can’t wait to see the deadly combination on the big screen.

War 2 will be directed by Ayan Mukerji who previously helmed Indian mythological superhero film Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva.
