Rough Surf Crashes on San Francisco Seawall
“Widespread rain showers” continued in California’s Bay Area on Thursday, January 5, “leading to additional localized flooding” in the coastal region, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Video posted by Rex Salisbury on Thursday shows powerful waves crashing onto seawalls and flowing onto walkways in San Francisco.
Officials warned on Thursday that “more rain is expected today and throughout the week” and asked residents to “keep 911 open for emergencies.”
