When I first came across rosehip oil back in 2020, I was amazed at how one product can offer so much and wondered why more people weren't talking about it.

As a busy mother of two young children, I don’t have the time (or energy) for a 10-step morning and evening skincare routine, so the idea of an all-in-one product was very appealing.

Rosehip oil's extracted from the small berry-like fruits found nestled under wild rose bushes, which are most commonly grown in Chile, but can also be grown in Africa and Europe.

They produce a seed-filled bulb, which is pressed to make the oil that is packed with nutrients, fatty acids and antioxidants and can help aid skin cell regeneration.

Rosehip oil has been used for centuries for a multitude of therapeutic and beauty benefits, including healing scars, reducing wrinkles and rejuvenating the skin and even hair. It’s the gift that keeps giving.

It's widely reported that A-list celebs such as Victoria Beckham and the Kardashians are also fans of the affordable skincare product, so I was immediately sold. The celebrity-approved rosehip oil of choice is thought to be Trilogy's Certified Organic Rosehip Oil, which at £34.50 for 45ml, doesn't come cheap.

As a bargain hunter, I'm always on the look out for affordable beauty products that actually work. So, I searched for a more budget-friendly alternative and eventually discovered the top-rated Kanzy Rosehip Oil. This product cost me a little under £10 (hardly breaking the bank) and for all its skincare benefits it’s definitely worth every penny.

As recommended in the directions of how to apply the product, I squeeze a small amount of the oil onto my palm and apply directly to my face in the morning and evenings.

Over the last three years, I’ve been using Kanzy’s Rosehip Oil religiously as part of my skincare routine, here’s all the reasons why I would recommend it.

🛍️ Reasons to buy

This 100% cold pressed and unrefined oil is rich in Vitamin A, C, E and omega fatty acids, leaving my skin ultra hydrated and silky smooth.

As seasons change, this product adapts to my skincare needs. During colder months, it restores lost moisture - ideal for dry and dehydrated skin. During warmer months, it repairs sun damaged skin, giving me a youthful glow.

A very big change I’ve noticed is the reduced hyperpigmentation around my cheeks and mouth area -something I’ve always been insecure about.

While this is no overnight miracle cream, I have definitely noticed results a lot quicker than other products, particularly after applying make-up.

Prior to using Kanzy Rosehip Oil, I would shy away from using concealer on my under-eye area because it would always crease, making my make-up look ashy. However, since using it, my make-up base has come a long way, my under-eye area looks flawless with minimal creasing.

Another selling point for me was that the oil can also be used to heal stretch marks - although I am yet to use it for that purpose.

Reasons to avoid

Even though this product is described online as having no scent or fragrance, there is a slight scent. If I was to describe the fragrance, I would say that it smells like a very distinct woody scent.

Now for many this can be desired, however, for me it can be a little strong, especially if, like me, you've found you have a heightened sense of smell after having kids.

💰Best deal we’ve found

The product is only available on Amazon and currently there aren't any deals on. However, if you buy two bottles you can get 10% off. So, if you want to stock up, you can get two for under £20.

If you’re looking for a versatile product to incorporate into your skincare routine, this would be the one. Plus, a lifesaver for a busy mum like me.
