A couple survived a terrifying ordeal on Sunday (November 14) in northwestern India when the rope snapped while they were parasailing. Footage captured at Nagoá beach in the Diu district shows the tourists from Gujarat being pulled along behind a speed boat and apparently enjoying the ride. Suddenly, as the boat speeds up, the rope snaps sending the husband and wife flying off into the air. The parachute landed a short time afterwards around 100 metres from the shore and the couple were rescued by lifeguards from the company that runs the parasailing operation. The pair were not hurt in the incident, according to local media.
