Roof Ripped Off Building as Hurricane Lisa Hits Belize
Strong winds ripped part of a roof clean off a building as Hurricane Lisa made landfall in Belize on Wednesday, November 2, footage shows.
Michael Flowers recorded footage showing the roof flying off a building in Belize City. Lisa made landfall about 10 miles southwest of Belize City on Wednesday, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
On November 3, the National Meteorological Service of Belize said Lisa’s outer rain bands remain over Belize and that a flood warning is in effect for the country.
