"Our boys asked me the other day how I’m gonna feed Pō on the plane when we take her with us to Hawaii, and I was like, 'uh, the same way I always do,'" Rousey penned. "Then it occurred to me that they probably never seen anyone breastfeed before and weren’t sure if it was appropriate in public."

"Motherhood’s some badass, primal, beautiful s—t that shouldn’t be hidden," the former UFC star continued. "It still blows my mind that my body assembled this little person, pushed her out and now makes everything she needs to thrive. It’s really nothing to be ashamed of, it’s something to brag about."

Rousey's post was quickly met with praise from fans for her transparency, and support for her effort to normalize breastfeeding.

"Breastfeeding is the most natural thing to do. Some people just judge and nothing you can do. My partner breastfeeds too, screw the haters. Your baby comes first over their opinions," one Instagram user commented.

"Yep. Feed that baby whenever she needs it wherever she needs it," another added.

"Absolutely amazing. Thank you for using your voice to support such an important message!" someone else wrote.

"You're so right! Women are so powerful, way beyond what we're given credit for. You literally created a human being, and now your boobs automatically make food for him to survive. It's honestly not talked about nearly enough how incredible women are and what we're capable of. Thanks so much for sharing this!" another commented.

Rousey and her husband Travis Browne welcomed their daughter in late September, and since then she has been giving her fans an honest look at what new motherhood is like via Instagram. She shared an additional photo on Monday alongside her daughter and husband, with a caption revealing that her current sleep schedule is not for the weak.

"After Pō’s roughest night since we brought her home, (she was up feeding every hour all night) @travisbrownemma (aka best husband/dad ever) made use of our stored up milk stash so I could take a 5-hour afternoon nap," Rousey wrote. "I emerged a new woman ready to take on another sleepless night."
