New Rolling Stones Album Features Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lady Gaga, More Guests
The Rolling Stones have revealed the full track list of their first full album of original studio material since 2005, “Hackney Diamonds” — and the full list of guests. “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” features vocals from Lady Gaga and keyboards and piano from Stevie Wonder, “Bite My Head Off” gets some inimitable bass from Paul McCartney, and “Get Close” and “Live By The Sword” have Elton John on piano.
The Stones’ original rhythm section of bassist Bill Wyman and late drummer Charlie Watts is reunited on “Live By The Sword.” Watts, who died in 2021, is also featured on the song “Mess It Up.”

Reports of the Stones recording with McCartney leaked earlier this year, along with unconfirmed — and apparently inaccurate — word that Ringo Starr played on the song as well.
The 12-song album, produced by Grammy-winner Andrew Watt (Post Malone, Elton John, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ozzy Osbourne), is out October 20 on Geffen Records.
Last week the Stones launched the album at a globally live streamed event from Hackney Empire in East London. The live stream was followed by the premiere of the video for “Angry,” staring actor Sydney Sweeney.
At the event, the Stones spoke of how much they miss Watts , who joined the group in 1962 and missed only one concert over the next 58 years. The group has since toured with veteran drummer Steve Jordan, who was handpicked by Watts to replace him. Jordan plays drums on the album’s remaining 10 tracks.
