Rockets Fired From Gaza as Israel Targets Islamic Jihad Commanders

Sirens sounded across Israel on Thursday night, May 11, as the country’s military said Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) militants in Gaza continued to fire rockets into the early hours of Friday.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out airstrikes on multiple PIJ positions in Gaza, including rocket-launching sites. Earlier on Thursday, IDF said it killed the commander and deputy commander of PIJ’s rocket forces.
