Roads turn to rivers in Colombia's intense floods

Much of Colombia, including Guaranda, Sucre and Monteria, and Cordoba is struggling through a wet season that has killed dozens nationally and damaged thousands of homes.

Further rain is predicted as the La Nina weather phenomena kicks off in September.

In Guaranda, locals made their way through local streets with the help of canoes.

Meanwhile, in Monteria, residents say they have lost everything, with banana plantations left waterlogged by the downpour.
