Heavy rain flooded the Winston-Salem, North Carolina, area early on November 12, forcing emergency workers to carry out evacuations.
This clip, posted on Twitter by the Winston-Salem Fire Department, shows the 3900 block of Bethania Station Road, closed because of floodwater.
The fire department had to evacuate at least 38 people from an apartment complex in the city as floodwaters rose and creeks overflowed their banks, local news reported.
