Road Washed Out in Northwest Georgia Amid Flash Flood Emergency

Floodwaters inundated a road in northwest Georgia on Sunday, September 4, as “life-threatening” flash floods struck the area.

This footage, captured by Twitter user @lydawgcha, shows scenes on Lyerly Dam Road in Summerville on Sunday morning.
