Guess who's back at Riverdale! The show's cast is officially back on set after the coronavirus pandemic caused them to shut down.
Vanessa Morgan, who plays Toni Topaz, took some behind the scenes pic on her first day back and showed off Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe. "Crazy being back here after 6 months," she wrote on her Instagram story.
She later posted a photo of several COVID tests in her trailer, revealing that the cast and crew will have to get them done three times a week to make sure that they are not positive and are able to continue filming.
It seems like Riverdale will start filming any day now and some of the cast members have been quarantining together since making it back to Vancouver. Riverdale creator, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, revealed back in August 17 that pre-production on the show had already started, meaning that filming was set to start soon.
Camila Mendes posted a video of her hanging out with Madelaine Petch and Lili Reinhart while watching some Harry Potter films together.
Even though the cast will be filming once again soon, fans will still have to wait a little bit longer than normal for new episodes. The show is set to come back to The CW in 2021, unlike its normal October release date. However, the new season is set to be bigger than the rest due to the previous one being cut short.
Hopefully, this means we'll be getting some more cute cast Instagram pics soon of them all together again soon!
