Ritas Has a New Guav-A-Rita Sparkling Margarita and It’s Basically Summer in a Can
Canned cocktails have been a total game-changer. Gone are the days when you had to have several ingredients on hand to shake up a boozy sip. Ritas is among the brands that have been keeping us easily sipping, and it’s known for its canned sparkling margaritas. A new flavor has just been introduced in time for summer 2020.
The Guav-A-Rita Sparkling Margarita is bursting with summer-approved fruity flavor. Guava is a tropical fruit with green or yellow skin and a pink or white center. It’s been described as having a flavor that’s between the cross of a pear and strawberry. The new Guav-A-Rita is described as tasting sweet and tropical, which is really all we need for a warm-weather sip.
Ritas announced the new variety on Instagram in March, so you shouldn’t have too much of a problem finding the flavor in retailers and liquor stores that already carry the brand. The good news is that it’s available for delivery on Drizly and Total Wine. Guav-A-Rita comes in single 25-ounce cans and 12-pack 12-ounce cans. Each 12-ounce can has 8% ABV.

Ritas already has six sparkling margarita flavors, including Lime-A-Rita, Straw-Ber-Rita, Water-Melon-Rita, Water-Melon-Rita, Berry-A-Rita, Mang-O-Rita, Lemon-Ade-Rita. Guav-A-Rita is the seventh flavor to hit the lineup, but it’s the only limited-edition one.
We already have a running list of boozy beverages to get for the summertime (we like to try everything, OK?), and Ritas’ Guav-A-Rita has definitely earned a spot. You might want to join us, because it’ll only be around for a limited time.
