Rita Ora's Latest Naked Dress Was Basically Just a String of Pearls
This Marni number left nothing to the imagination.

As far as Rita Ora was concerned, the 2024 Met Gala's theme of "The Garden of Time" meant "show us a whole lot of skin" — because that's exactly what she did. After walking the red carpet in a "dress" that was essentially two long panels of beads, the singer took the naked dress to new heights with her ultra-daring after-party look.
For her second, showgirl-esque outfit of the evening, Ora wore a see-through nude bodysuit that showed off her bare chest. Two giant appliqué turquoise pieces covered her lower half, while a "skirt" was formed with dangly white beads that looked like pearls. Two matching strings lined the upper half of her bodysuit. She completed the look with a giant, white, fluffy coat, which she wore loose around her shoulders. Daring, glamour, skin—this look had it all.

Ora attended Mulberry's after-party with Francesco Risso, Marni's creative director, who was also the man responsible for both her bold Met Gala looks. Ora's stylist, Pippa Atkinson, later took to Instagram to share the two gowns. "So amazing to be part of your 10th Met, Rita, in Marni at the Met Gala," she wrote.
Of course, seeing Ora bear so much skin is hardly a new phenomenon. In fact, it's kind of her thing. From sheer lace pants to sheer lace bralettes to sheer red carpet gowns to the sheer black gown she wore to last year's Met Gala, Ora isn't afraid to push the sheer trend to its limits.
