Ridzuan Hashim passed away at 61

5 May – Ridzuan Hashim has recently passed away.

The news was confirmed by the actor's nephew, Kamarul Izham, stating that the actor breathed his last on 4 May at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

Former wife and actress Didie Alias also shared the news via Instagram from the hospital, adding, "To those who have any debt with him, please contact me. Please forgive him his faults."

It was reported that Ridzuan passed away while having a meal with his child at home in Bandar Tun Razak around 11 to 12pm.

"He fell down the dining chair and was rushed to the hospital. However, he had already passed away," Kamarul said.

As one of the most sought-after actors in the '90s and early 2000s, Ridzuan had starred in many movies and dramas including "Hati Bukan Kristal", "Ghazal Untuk Rabiah", and "Seri Dewi Malam". He also starred in movies like "KL Gangster", "Spa Q", "Sephia", "Don 2", "Rise to Power: KLGU", with his last movie being "Daddyku Gangster".

He was married to Didie Alias from 1991 to 2002, and the two have five children together.

He was 61.
