Rico Andrews: Man charged following death of 21-year-old in Battersea
A man has been charged with murder following the death of a 21-year-old in Battersea.
Rico Andrews was fatally shot in Shuttleworth Road around 9.50pm on October 5. Despite the best efforts of the paramedics, Mr Andrews died at the scene.
Detectives have now charged Josh Eno, 23, of no fixed abode in connection with the shooting.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest.
Eno was due to appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on October 28.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil John from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command who leads the investigation said: "While a charge has been brought in connection with this investigation I must stress that we still need help from the public.
"I continue to appeal to anyone who was in the area to area and saw events unfold, or anyone who has captured this incident on phone or doorbell footage, to contact police immediately."
