Jill Zarin revealed that she recently got a face lift.

On June 4, the Real Housewives of New York City alum, 60, posted a video on Instagram saying that she’s been quiet on social media lately after having a few cosmetic procedures done.

“I’m bravely sharing that I had a lower facelift and a couple other minor tweaks,” she said. “I live my life openly and freely, that’s why I did a reality show and I think it’s important for people who do reality shows to be honest.”

“I just want to share my story and my journey,” she added, promising to post before and after photos throughout her recovery.

Zarin said that she just got her drainage removed and she’s set to get her stitches removed later this week. In addition to the face lift, she also had fat transferred into her hands.

“I had a fat transplant put into my hands because I hated my hands and the worst part was the lipo coming out of my leg to fill my hands,” she explained. “Believe it or not, that’s the most pain I’ve had.”

“There’s no real pain,” she continued. “But I am tired… could be from the anesthesia.”

Zarin previously told PEOPLE in 2011 that she was getting a “liquid face lift” regularly because she didn’t want to go under the knife.

“I have a liquid facelift every six months,” Zarin tells PEOPLE. “It really works. No knives!”

A “liquid facelift” is “just using injectables,” said Zarin, who started visiting Dr. Patricia Wexler to get the procedure. Rather than using a filler to tackle individual smile lines, the dermatologist said she lifted Zarin’s face by injecting Restylane along the jawline and up along the sides of her face. The procedure can cost between $1,000-$3,000 per visit.

“I won’t say it doesn’t hurt,” Zarin said at the time. “But it’s 100 percent worth it. She took ten years off my face.”
