Retired Chinese soldier climbs four floors barehanded to rescue toddler hanging from window

A retired soldier climbed four floors barehanded to rescue a two-year-old girl hanging from a fourth-floor window of a residential building in southern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Nanning in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on June 14, shows a girl hanging out of the fourth-floor window as her head got stuck in between the security bars.

In another clip, a retired soldier held the gas pipeline on the building's outer wall to support the girl from the bottom.

The retired soldier was reportedly climbing four-floors through the pipeline and lifted the girl up from the bottom for more than 20 minutes.

Finally, the property management employees entered the apartment to cut the security bars open to save the girl.

Fortunately, the girl was not injured.
