Residential Building Damaged Following Overnight Shelling on Sloviansk

A three-story residential building was damaged by overnight shelling on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, the city’s military-civilian administration said on Wednesday, September 7.

The Sloviansk military-civilian administration, citing internal affairs chief Vadim Lyah, said rescue work was ongoing and that some people were thought to be under the rubble.

Video released by Radio Free Europe shows the destruction.

The administration also said school No 4 in the Cherevkovka neighborhood of Sloviansk was damaged. It said there were no casualties. Credit: Radio Free Europe via Storyful
