Rescue Crews Evacuate Residents From Maharashtra Floods as Death Toll Rises

Rescue teams from India’s National Disaster Response Force helped evacuate residents of Kolhapur on July 24, video shows, as deadly flooding struck the state of Maharashtra.

Local news reports estimated on Saturday that at least 112 people had died due to flooding and landslides across Maharashtra state.

The Kolhapur Police said area roadways were impassable due to flooding on Thursday and Friday.
