KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 — A portion of the highway that is being built at the Sungai Buloh-Kota Damansara section of the North Klang Valley Expressway gave way earlier this evening, injuring three workers.
Malay daily Harian Metro cited Selangor Fire and Rescue director Norazam Khamis confirming the incident.
“The incident involved a concrete block that fell and three Bangladeshi workers aged between 20 and 40 suffered light injuries,” he was quoted saying.
Norazam added that the workers were hit by shrapnel from the concrete block.
