Remarkable Rain Clouds Sweep Across Minnesota

Storms were forecast for parts of Minnesota on the evening of July 31 amid a dry spell that left areas of the state in drought.

This footage, shot by photographer Carol Bauer, captures dark storm clouds as they roll toward her hometown of Graceville in Minnesota’s central-west. A curtain of rain can be seen following closely.

The US National Weather Service’s Twin Cities bureau said in a tweet the storms that night and into August 1 would “not be a wash-out.” Credit: Carol Bauer via Storyful
