Regina King used her outfit to make an important statement as she accepted her fourth Emmy trophy.

The Watchmen star, 49, wore a T-shirt featuring the face of Breonna Taylor, who was shot dead in her home by police in March.

Officers entered the 26-year-old paramedic’s home in Louisville, Kentucky with a so-called no-knock warrant.

The officers involved in the case have not been arrested.

King, who received the award for Lead Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie on Sunday night’s ceremony, wore the black t-shirt showing an image of Taylor’s face with a bright pink suit.

The T-shirt also featured the words “say her name.”

King previously wore the top, which has “Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor” written on the front, in an Instagram post.

All proceeds for the t-shirt, which has also been worn by celebrities including Jessica Alba, Tracee Ellis Ross, Olivia Wilde and Amy Schumer, go to the Breonna Taylor Foundation, which was started by Taylor’s mother Tamika Palmer.

King used her acceptance speech to remind viewers of the importance of voting in the upcoming presidential race, noting that it would be “remiss not to” mention the election and urging them to “have a voting plan.”

She also paid tribute to Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died on Friday.

King’s fellow actress Uzo Aduba also wore a t-shirt bearing Taylor’s likeness as she accepted her Emmy for Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for her role as trailblazing politician Shirley Chisholm in Mrs America.
