Reggaeton singer Don Omar reveals cancer diagnosis aged 46

Reggaeton star Don Omar has revealed he has been diagnosed with cancer.

He made the announcement in an Instagram post on Monday, with a photo of what appears to be him wearing a hospital bracelet.

In the caption, written in Spanish, the Puerto Rican singer said "tomorrow" he will be cancer-free.

The 46-year-old did not share any details about the type of cancer or the treatment he is receiving.

Omar completed the first leg of his Back To Reggaeton tour across the US and Canada in April and is due to start the second leg in August.
