One of my favorite fall-winter pieces is a cozy quarter-zip. It’s one of the more versatile pieces in my closet, and it’s great for any occasion. I can dress it down with jeans over a T-shirt, or dress it up by pairing it with trousers or draped over the shoulders. They can be styled zipped down to keep you cool or zipped up like a turtleneck to keep you warm –– it’s truly a closet must-have. So it came as no surprise to see Reese Witherspoon sporting a nautical striped quarter-zip sweater from her brand, Draper James — even her dog had one to match.
The classic pullover style, in combination with the timeless Brenton stripe that even Kate Middleton has been spotted wearing, is a match made in styling heaven and flows effortlessly with the changing color palette of the seasons. But what was a surprise was that Witherspoon’s exact sweater was fully in stock after posting to her Instagram, and if I didn’t already have a similar style, I would have added it to my cart.

While my Automet Quarter-Zip Sweatshirt has been my most recent pullover grab, I have now been influenced by Witherspoon to add my Amkoyam Striped Zip-Up Sweater back into my rotation. It comes in 15 color and stripe options, including blue and white, white and black, beige and white, pink, green, and blue, in sizes S through XL. It features a quarter-zip closure for easy on and off, a mock neck for extra coverage, drop shoulders, and elastic cuffs for a close fit. The knit fabric is soft to the touch and has a loose and easy fit that makes it great for layering.

I love how plush this fabric is on the body because I have owned similar styles that have left my skin itching and irritated, but this feels like being bundled up in a warm blanket. The fit is loose without looking baggy or sloppy, and it’s held up well after several wears and washes. However, I recommend being mindful of where you plan on wearing this pull-on sweater because I have had issues with the threads snagging.
