A red squirrel nibbling on a snack against a snowy backdrop made for a picturesque moment in the Scottish Highlands on January 21.
This footage, by Lisa Wood, shows the animal – a protected species in the UK – amid the wintry weather in Nairn, a coastal town in the Scottish Highlands.
Wood told Storyful she films squirrels in the area on a daily basis and sees “many different behaviors”.
