Red Robed Protesters Call for Climate Action in Glasgow Amid COP26 Summit

Red-robed protesters marched in the streets of Glasgow on November 1, while world leaders gathered at the COP26 climate change summit in the Scottish city.

The eerily quiet march was accompanied by a slow drum beat and signs calling for action on climate change. This video taken by TaylorYoungTBY shows the protesters marching at Glasgow Central Station.

Climate action group Extinction Rebellion said the group had traveled to Glasgow by rail on November 1.

The costumes came from a troupe called The Invisible Circus, a creation of Doug Francisco of Bristol who is involved with Extinction Rebellion, according to their website. Credit: TaylorYoungTBY via Storyful
