Rebecca Zhu denies being "shelved" by TVB

14 Sep – Rebecca Zhu has recently dismissed rumours that she is being set aside by TVB for the time being after sparking several negative news for the past two years.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who made an appearance at the Miss Hong Kong 2021 pageant recently, dismissed that she was forced to withdraw from the upcoming series, "Rosy Business 4" due to her previous headlines - from accusing Tony Hung of taking too many liberties with her while filming the drama "Wonder Women", to her supposed rift with "The Dripping Sauce" co-star Katy Kung.

"This is not a fact and I would rather not respond," said Rebecca regarding the rumour. "If the company doesn't think I'm okay, I won't be here this evening."

Rebecca, who has not filmed a new drama since taking a one-year break to spend time with her family last year, stated that TVB has already arranged a project for her, though the details will be announced by the broadcaster later.

"I do understand that this is the media's job to write about it," she added, stressing that she was never listed to work on the said drama in the first place.
