Let's be real, we've probably all created made-up scenarios in our heads of what it would be like to *actually* be on TV. Maybe you have dreams of being on The Voice and flaunting your singing talents in front of Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton. Maybe you're more of an actor and have dreamed of starring on a sitcom like Schitt's Creek. Or maybe you've pictured yourself as a client on some type of home renovation or real estate show. All great dreams. If the latter option is more your vibe, I might just have an opportunity for you.

According to a listing on Backstage, Magilla Entertainment, creator of TLC's Long Island Medium and HGTV's Beachfront Bargain Hunt, is currently casting a very specific talent for an upcoming reality TV show. The company is looking for "outgoing couples in the tri-state area who are buying their first home with the financial help of both of their opinionated mothers." In other words, if you and your partner are looking to become first-time homeowners, but are getting some help (ahem, funds) from both your outspoken mother and mother-in-law, and you live in New Jersey, you might just fit the bill.

Specifically, the listing asks for couples trying to buy a house in the following areas of New Jersey: Jersey City, Atlantic City, New Brunswick, Asbury Park, Red Bank, Rahway, and Cherry Hill. Couples looking for property in Philadelphia, PA, or Stamford, CT, are also invited to apply. The posting gives an age range of 27-45 years old for the couple and emphasizes that the role is for "real people with real stories," who are "fun and outgoing." Also, this couple must be willing to take their uber-opinionated moms, falling with ages 45-65, along on the house hunting journey.

I didn't write this role, but gosh, I really wish I did. While the posting doesn't offer too many details, as I'm sure this show is still getting ironed out, you can apply either on Backstage or email castingdirector@magilla.tv with your names, ages, location, occupations, budget, phone number, a recent photo, and a few sentences about your mothers and your dream home. The listing expires March 31,2020, however, there's also a note about how the show will begin shooting in March. With that in mind, I would apply STAT. Swig some wine and let it all out about your mom and MIL and their opinions in the application. Also, if you get cast in this role, feel free to send me a fruit basket.

Who knows? Maybe this show will end up on HGTV, or even Quibi.
