Ratings: ‘Last Man Standing’ Makes Fox First-Place Network

ABC already misses that great “Jeopardy! Greatest of All Time” run. On Thursday, Fox won primetime in key-demo ratings thanks to Tim Allen’s “Last Man Standing.”

NBC didn’t have as much success with its sitcoms and settled for last place among the Big 4 broadcasters. It actually tied with Univision in ratings among 18 to 49-year-olds.

Fox was first in ratings with a 0.7 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 4.2 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Last Man Standing” at 8 had a 0.8/4 and 4.6 million viewers. A second episode at 8:30 got a 0.8/4 and 4.9 million viewers. “Deputy” at 9 received a 0.6/3 and 3.6 million viewers.

CBS and ABC tied for second in ratings, both with 0.6/3s. CBS was first in total viewers with 5.4 million, ABC was third with 3.4 million.

For CBS, “Young Sheldon” at 8 earned a 1.0/5 and 8.8 million viewers. At 8:30, “The Unicorn” had a 0.6/3 and 5.7 million viewers. “Mom” at 9 drew a 0.7/4 and 6.3 million viewers. At 9:30, “Carol’s Second Act” received a 0.6/3 and 5 million viewers. “Evil” at 10 managed a 0.5/3 and 3.3 million viewers.

For ABC, following reruns, a special titled “The Last Days of Richard Pryor,” which ran from 9 to 11 p.m. had a 0.6/4 and 3.8 million viewers.

NBC and Univision tied for fourth in ratings, both with 0.5/3s. NBC was fourth in viewers with 2.5 million, Univision was fifth with 1.5 million.

For NBC, “Superstore” at 8 had a 0.6/3 and 2.7 million viewers. At 8:30, “The Good Place” got a 0.5/2 and 1.9 million viewers. “Will & Grace” at 9 managed a 0.4/2 and 2.1 million viewers. “Perfect Harmony” at 9:30 settled for a 0.3/1 and 1.3 million viewers. “Law & Order: SVU” at 10 improved upon things with a 0.6/4 and 3.6 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.3/2 and seventh in viewers with 853,000.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and sixth in viewers with 939,000. “Supernatural” at 8 had a 0.3/2 and 1.2 million viewers. At 9, “Legacies” got a 0.2/1 and 723,000.
