Ratings: GOP Debate Gives CW Its Largest Audience Since January 2018

That sound you hear is The CW ringing the phones trying to acquire a scripted Canadian version of the GOP debate.

The CW’s slice of the latest Republican presidential candidate debate on Wednesday night drew 2.5 million viewers, marking the netlet’s most watched primetime program since a January 2018 episode of The Flash.

(For those curious, NewsNation’s coverage of said debate drew 1.6 million viewers; in a TVLine poll, 47% said that Nikki Haley “won” this latest round.)

Over on NBC, Quantum Leap drew a season low audience of 2.4 million, while steady in the demo with a 0.3 rating; read recap. Magnum P.I. (2.9 mil/0.3) similarly hit a Season 5B low in audience, but was steady in the demo.

CBS’ Survivor (4.7 mil/0.8, read recap and castoff Q&A) dropped a few eyeballs but dominated the night in both measures. The Amazing Race (2.8 mil/0.3) dipped in the demo.

Fox’s The Masked Singer (3.1 mil/0.4, read recap) was steady, while Snake Oil (1.5 mil/0.3) ticked up in both measures.

At ABC, Celebrity Jeopardy! did 3.7 mil and a 0.3, followed by Celebrity Wheel of Fortune‘s 3.1 mil/0.3
