KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 27 (Bernama) -- Ranhill Holdings Bhd is banking to develop and implement infrastructure projects in West Java Province with Indonesia’s PT Jasa Sarana.
Both parties have inked three memoranda of understanding (MoU) to cooperate and explore opportunities for the endeavours.
In a statement today, Ranhill said the projects include a geothermal power plant and mini hydro power plant. A regional waste management and final processing project is also being considered.
Group president and chief executive, Tan Sri Hamdan Mohamad said Ranhill’s collaboration with PT Jasa Sarana, an established Indonesian company involved in infrastructure projects, including regional development, would allow the conglomerate to tap on strong prospects in the Indonesian market.
“With our proven track record and expertise, we are confident that we will be able to contribute to the development of strategic infrastructure projects in the West Java Province,” he said.
