Rams Cornerback Jalen Ramsey Blitzes Into $9.5 Million Hidden Hills Mansion

Fresh off inking a record $105 million contract with the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams, Jalen Ramsey has sunk a good portion of those earnings back into real estate, scoring a $9.5 million mansion in one of the San Fernando Valley’s most exclusive neighborhoods. The 26-year-old Tennessee native’s slick new home was built new in 2020 — by veteran “America’s Got Talent” host Howie Mandel, as it turns out — and never occupied.

The purchase marks a big shift from just three months ago, when Ramsey announced he was house-hunting in L.A. but didn’t yet “have Calabasas money.” That all rapidly changed in September, when he signed his major new contract, of course — and his new mansion is located in Hidden Hills, the guard-gated city immediately adjacent to Calabasas that is usually considered even more expensive and desirable.

The nearly 10,000-square-foot structure, designed in the endlessly popular modern farmhouse style, is painted a two-tone cream and charcoal paint for visual drama. Inside, open-plan living spaces have wide-plank oak hardwood floors throughout, plus banks of foldaway glass doors that flood the public rooms with natural light.

Guests entering via the front door are greeted by a vaulted ceiling and sculptural chandelier, while formal living and dining rooms flank the foyer, the former with a fireplace and French doors leading to the olive tree-shaded front yard. There’s also a fireplace-equipped family room open to the chef’s kitchen, which is complete with quartzite countertops, custom cabinetry, and top-notch Wolf and SubZero appliances.

Other highlights include a laundry room, pantry, a marble-topped wet bar, a gym, and a notably plush movie theater. There’s also a glass-walled office that stares — perhaps a little too temptingly — directly into the glass-walled, walk-in wine closet. Hey, it’s five o’clock somewhere, right?

All six of the three-level home’s bedrooms have their own ensuite bath, while the master kicks things into high style gear with its double-sided fireplace, a sitting area, deluxe spa-style bath and private outdoor patio.

Though a significant portion of the 1.3-acre lot is steeply sloped, it featured beautiful mature eucalyptus trees, and there’s a graded flat pad with a grassy backyard lawn, swimming pool with raised spa, and a covered loggia with ample space for outdoor entertaining.

Some of Ramsey’s new Hidden Hills neighbors include multiple members of the Kardashian clan, Paul George, Vin Scully, Dwayne Wade, and YouTuber Jeffree Star.

Danielle Peretz of The Agency held the listing; Lee Mintz of Compass repped Ramsey.
