Raisa asks Meerqeen herself to be in lyric video

20 Dec - Indonesian singer Raisa recently revealed that she invited Malaysian actor Meerqeen herself to star in the lyric video of her new song, "Tak Berharap Lagi".

The singer, who was asked about the "Melur Untuk Firdaus" star's appearance in the video, stated that the two met at an event in Japan and got to talk with each other during the event.

"When I returned from Japan, I was thinking about who would be great for the video. I have already worked with lots of Indonesian artistes, so I thought, why not invite Meerqeen?" she said.

Raisa stated that she sent a private message to the actor and the two camps began the discussion from then on.

The singer revealed that filming went well at a resort in Indonesia, and Meerqeen then flew to Bali for a shoot.

The video, which was released on 15 December, has now reached more than 300,000 views.
