Rainwater Pours Through TV Screen in Las Vegas Casino as Flash Flooding Hits

Water streamed from a hole in a video wall inside a casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, after torrential rain hit the city on July 28.

This video, recorded by Natalie Martin, shows floodwater drenching the carpets in the Circa casino’s Sportsbook.

Martin told Storyful the storm lasted about 20 minutes, and that she was surprised at the amount of damage that occurred within that time.

“The Sportsbook, which is their biggest feature in that new hotel, is now completely damaged,” Martin told Storyful.

Local news reports say wind gusts reached up to 71 mph, and pea-sized hail fell in some areas.
