Rainie Yang heartbroken over Alien Huang's death

18 Sep – Rainie Yang is heartbroken over news that her former boyfriend Alien Huang has suddenly passed away.

On 16 September, several hours following news of his death, the singer posted an old photo of the two of them together on social media and wrote, "Thank you for caring for me. I will not pretend I'm fine, because such a thing is impossible."

"Hong-sheng's departure has broken the hearts of the many people who loved him. After hearing the news, I was worried about his family. They must be hurting more than me," she added.

At the same time, Rainie said that she is glad to see the positive things the media said on their coverage about him, adding that it was a blessing in her life to have ever met him. The two dated in high school prior to Rainie's debut.

"Hong-sheng, I believe that in the future you will still accompany me in a different form. Thank you for your presence in my life. I am very happy that we all express our full love and care to each other appropriately. It is a pity to lose you but we have no regrets left."

Speaking to the media about the news, Rainie stated that it was hard to describe the pain she felt at his death as she considered the singer like family.

"I will always remember the good in him. Please remember his hard work, seriousness, and talent. He will be in my mind forever," she added.

36-year-old Alien Huang was found dead at home on the morning of 16 September by his own father. No cause of death has been determined yet.
