‘Rainbow Smiggles’ Beer Is Brewed With Trix Cereal and Skittles
Beer and cereal form an unlikely pair that goes surprisingly well together. Don’t believe us? You must not have tried DuClaw Brewing Co.’s Fruity Pebbles beer or Smartmouth’s Lucky Charms IPA. Now is your chance to get your hands on Pontoon Brewing’s new Rainbow Smiggles brew.
The beer begins with a sour recipe from the brewery, which is brewed with Trix cereal and Skittles candy. You won’t be able to miss the can's design, featuring colorful letters and rabbit spewing a rainbow, by Sprayberry Bottle Shop.
“We’re trying to keep the market well-provided with interesting new flavors month after month,” Chris Baratz, head brewer at Pontoon Brewing, told Thrillist. “Because of that, we like to push the limits and go to extremes to keep the brewers and customers excited about each new sour.”
Rainbow Smiggles will be available at the brewery in Sandy Springs, Georgia and Sprayberry beginning Feb. 7. According to Thrillist, it’ll also roll out to “other parts of Pontoon’s market early next month.”
