Rain Li can't wait any longer to get back to work

5 Aug – After months of delay due to the pandemic, Rain Li felt that she could no longer postpone her projects and decided to undergo her 14-day quarantine in Shenzhen in order to get back to work.

The Hong Kong actress, who spoke to Mingpao following her arrival in mainland China, stated that she originally planned to wait until there would be no need for the obligatory 14-day quarantine before returning to work in the mainland.

"But after waiting for months, and owing a lot of commercial performances and drama projects, I decided to go," she said.

Rain stated that she even asked her husband to prepare a lot of snacks and food supplies for her isolation, since she can't stay with him while she was in quarantine.

When asked how much she had lost from not being able to work during the previous restriction, Rain said, "It should be a seven-digit sum. But it doesn't matter. Health is more important."
