Raging Fire Destroys 150-Year-Old Glasgow Church

A historic Roman Catholic church in Glasgow, Scotland, was engulfed by flames in the early hours of July 28, according to local reports.

Officials said more than 30 firefighters were deployed to fight the blaze, after the alarm was raised at 2:40 am.

Amie Foote, who lives beside the church, said she was woken from her sleep by the commotion, and posted this footage from the scene.

Local media said the church tender was rescued from the adjoining house with no injuries.
