Nearly six months after their split, Rachel Lindsay is getting candid about her marriage with Bryan Abasolo in new court documents obtained by Us Weekly. She revealed bombshells from their brief marriage in a June 26 filing after he filed a motion requesting emergency spousal support last month. "Our marital standard of living was nowhere near as glamorous as Bryan portrays it to be," Rachel said in the docs. "In fact, we rarely saw each other or even lived together during our brief marriage."

She shared that while their season of The Bachelorette originally aired, Bryan quit his job as a chiropractor in Florida as she continued practicing law as an attorney in Dallas. The docs also claim that he eventually moved to LA in an attempt to "make it in Hollywood" while they were engaged. In 2018, Rachel quit her law firm and started receiving opportunities in the entertainment industry, from radio shows and podcasts to other TV gigs. Because of this, the former couple barely saw each other as she continuously traveled for work.

Rachel said that she and Bryan "rarely went out together and did not even go on monthly dates," adding that they didn't share a joint bank account and were each responsible for their own finances like credit cards, retirement accounts, and brokerage accounts. Before they moved to LA in 2020 as Rachel became a correspondent for Extra, they "split all of the household expenses." If the pair had to travel, the trips were either sponsored or they would pay for their respective expenses.

The former couple met and got engaged on Rachel's season of The Bachelorette in 2017 and eventually tied the knot in 2019. They officially separated after four years of marriage on December 31, 2023, and according to court docs obtained by E! News at the time, Bryan requested to be awarded spousal support amid their divorce.

A few months later in May, Bryan filed another motion requesting emergency spousal support, which Rachel is asking the court to deny. According to those docs, he alleged Rachel is still using their marital finances and "has not shared access" although they're still living in the same house together amid their divorce.

"I want to move out of our family residence as soon as possible, but maintaining our standard of living is not financially feasible at this time," the chiropractor claimed in his motion. "I placed my career as a chiropractor on hold to move twice for Rachel's career. These moves were detrimental to my chiropractic business, while Rachel's income and success as a media personality skyrocketed."

Per the docs, Rachel claims Bryan makes an average of $13,413 per month while she makes $61,019 and her monthly expenses exceed $49,500. "I am not flush with cash, as he believes me to be. And, I certainly cannot pay his attorney $75,000 to litigate our uncomplicated divorce," she said in the latest documents. "If I did so, I would not have sufficient funds remaining to pay my own counsel."

This is all truly 😵💫😵💫😵💫.
