Raccoon With Head Stuck in Can Rescued by Police Officer

A police officer in Pomona, New York, was called out for an unusual animal rescue on Sunday, July 25, after a raccoon got its head stuck in a tin can.

This clip, shared by the Town of Ramapo Police Department on Facebook, shows a raccoon running around a Pomona resident’s backyard with the can stuck on its head.

In the video, Ramapo PO Byrnes eventually frees the raccoon after several attempts.
