Queensland Snake Catcher Cuts Short Eastern Brown's Pool Trip

An eastern brown snake’s swim was cut short when a catcher arrived to remove it from a pool in Eumundi, Queensland.

“He had got himself a bit lost and was trying to find a way out. With me there he felt even more threatened and cornered and was frantically trying to escape. Poor snakey,” Luke Huntley, the snake catcher, said.

The footage, released on October 28, shows Huntley trying to corner the snake several times until he’s finally able to bag it.

“Little bit more jumpy than usual but I would be too after such an ordeal,” he said. Credit: Luke Huntley via Storyful
